The big fat Greek acts who will headline the season of amazing live shows.

'Who's performing where?' is the definitive London Greek Radio (LGR) guideline on where to catch your favourite artists during the winter-spring season.

Peggy Zina, Paschalis Terzis at the Iera Idos
The brilliant duo are a hit with the locals and dedicated fans who make the short distance trip from London to Greece.

The class act Peggy Zina is on top form belting out power ballads, with the emotional intensity, that she is renowned for. Paschalis's traditional 'laika' cause excitement. The popular male artist performs his latest hits from the especially - excellent - 'Diafora' album. Hits which include 'Paliokairos', 'Feugontas', and 'Fevgo Xorizo' - his new songs are penned by ace musician Christos Nikolopoulos.

In the meantime, Peggy has confirmed plans for a short stint with pop icon Sakis Rouvas is to follow, on May 15, at the Politia in Thessaloniki.

Marinella and Antonis Remos at the Athinon Arena
Hard-core fans will be swept off their feet with stirring renditions from the Athenian pair.

Now anyone who has sampled their excellent live album 'Marinella - Antonis Remos' that was recorded during last season, will know what to anticipate from the wonderful shows. 300,000 loyally ecstatic followers had made it through the turn-styles of last year's stint.

The Argentinian troupe the Tango Malambo, which consists in 22 choreographed dancers and musicians is led by Juan Corvalan - set to raise the sizzling temperature even further.

The album could be heralded as a valient tribute to the golden age in Greece's musical renaissance. With songs performed penned by the country's elite musicians such as Giorgos Zampetas, Manos Loizos, Apostolos Kaldaras and Mimis Plessas.

Marinella picked the choice cuts with 'Giati Fovase, Den ine pou fevgis, Na pezi to tranzistor, Dos mou to athanato nero, Sinora I agapi den gnorizi, Kamia fora, Pali tha klapso, Stalia stalia and Anixa Petra'.

In the meatime, Antonis Remos has confirmed his exclusive performance in London, on Sunday 25 May at the Hammersmith Apollo. So, if the short distance trip to Athens is but an awkward journey then check out this date with the biggest concert planned for the Spring.

Natasa Theodoridiou, Nikos Kourkoulis, Sarbel
London Cypriot star Sarbel had joined Natasa Theodoridou and Nikos Kourkoulis. Nikos's latest hit album 'Toses Nixtes Toses Meras' is a mix of laika-tsiftetlia - to pump up the volume... mia nixta sto paradiso! In the meanwhile, personifying elegance will be Natasa, class act who will tantalize the musical taste buds with her power ballads.

Sarbel, had filled the void which was left after the exit of Elli Kokkinou, who ditched professional committments, for the mother-to-be is gearing to give birth in the Spring.

Despina Vandi will headline the Diogenis Studio
The Greek diva had booked a winter spell at the popular haunt - with fellow artists Vasilis Karras and Nino. Despina's impassioned ballads and Greek club hits, will inject some well-deserved energy into the proceedings. Vasilis Karris is the trust-worthy custodian to good traditional laika/tsiftetelia, while Nino is expected to simmer things a bit with a decent dose of maintstream pop.

Despina's hot new album '10 Hronia Mazi' is proof of the versatility of the dance queen stroke balladeer.

Notis Sfakianakis, Gianna Terzi, Chrispa
Notis - is a firm favourite with the listener of the LGR has an affectionate belonging in the consciousness of the UK's Greek population. Notis Sfakianakis known for his funk-infused laika will perform numbers from the platinum 'Mnhmes' album - which purports hit tunes such as 'Parta', 'Aristera' and 'To Noima Tou Kosmou'.

Gianna Terzi, who is the daughter of Paschalis Terzis and Crispa are to fulfil the other slots at the Enastron. Chrispa, of course, finished third with 'A Chance for Love' in Greek Eurovision selection which was held in February, proving her worth as an all-round good entertainer.

Giorgos Mazonakis, Nikos Makropoulos and Kalomoira
Whether indeed Kalomoira has the time on her hands for a stint at the Fever - with all the Eurovision planning, promo tours and rehearsals that lie ahead is unclear! Having said that it's well-worth the wait for the Eurovision performance of 'Secret Combination' on May 20-24 in the Serbian contest.

Giorgos and Nikos are solid performers who will deliver on their promise for a typically sizzling Greek night out. Giorgos (as I like to call him) has released the album, 'Ta Nai Kai Ta Oxi Mou', similarly, Nikos Makropoulos has decent air-play with the song 'Dodeka Kai Ena'.

Michalis Hatzigiannis has joined forces with Glykeria for a stint at the Vox
The Cypriot pop sensation has filled the venue to full-capacity singing his biggest hits 'Heria Spila', 'Pio Poly' and 'Ola I Tipota' whipping the crowd into a veritible frenzy.

Glykeria has made an equally impressive co-partner while enchanting the spectator with songs from her vast repertoire.

Giannis Ploutarxos will headline the Kentro Athinon
Third consecutive season for the classy romancer and his powerful ballads, the melodies are good and the soothing, soft vocal are the correct antidote for the listener with appreciative taste. In the meantime, Apostolia Zoi, Tamta and Giannis Vardis are the other artists - each with a contribution to the contemporary music scene, some light pop relief and really great mainstream songs. I'd imagine Tamta's super hit 'Agapise' being a crowd-pleaser!
