The pop star had thrived on a successful summer tour of Greece in her first such nation-wide juant and experienced the adulation of the tens of thousands of spectators.
Crowds of over 90,000 were enticed by the slick charismatic performances.
The choreographer was Fokkas Evangelinos who spearheaded the 'number one' performance in 2005 and the Mr Shake It Sakis Rouvas show-stopper in 2004.
Goldern Elena carves out a mature sound
The album, which hit the shelves on May 29 2008, is a mature grounding for the artist and is distancing herself from the lighter pop offerings of Mambo and Gigolo.
The gold-certified album, 'Vrisko to logo na zo' is a mixture of contemporary ballads, melodic dance and pop-rock.
'Papajes Mojados' is a great listen infused with the Greek/Latin combo, and saw Elena in co-partnership with the acclaimed Chambao. It is infectiously good and this commentator is particularly loving it! The version has become a hit with clubs in Spain.
The Number One on the LGR Chart
Her powerful hit ballad, 'H kardia sou petra', is exceptionally sung by the singer had defined a spine-tingling sequence, and the 'big ballad' conquered the No.1 on the LGR TOP 20.
The song was written by Giorgos Sampanis (music) and lyrics penned by Giannis Doxas.
Her other hits performed live, 'Porta gia ton ourano ', 'Pirotehnimata', 'Ise I foni', 'Mambo', 'Mazi sou', 'Yparhi logos', 'An eixes erthei pio noris' and 'Anapantites kliseis'.
The album has had the authorship from Giorgos Moukidis, Giannis Xristodoulopoulos, Eleana Vrahali and Swedish born Matilda and Sofi and her other half, Toni Mavridis.
Manos Pirovolakis, the star's companion on the tours had performed his greatest hits, 'Ti mas enonei', 'To xamogelo sou', 'An I agapi', and 'Ta papaxena sou'.
Final leg of the tour
The concerts are planned for Athens, Patra and Thessaloniki. The singer is to be accompanied by Giorgos Sampanis (Haramata) and also the hip-hop sensation Stavento who partnered the Mad VMA 2008 duet of 'Mesa Sou'.
The tour will descend on Larisa, Alkazar stadium on August 27, Theatro Gis (Thessaloniki) on September 3 and culminating in Patra on September 8 at the Ethniko Satdio.
