The addictively catchy R'n'B ethno song 'Secret Combination' is enjoying widespread air-play on the LGR - two week's in a row occupying the number one.

The fiesty (but also innocent looking) Kalomoira was triumphant in the selection process, which was made in Greece on February 27 defeating her rivals Kostas Martakis and Chrispa. The polished slick, choreographed routine was an instant vote grabber.

Greece will perform at the Eurovision Semi-Final on May 20, with the goal of progressing to the Grand Final on May 24.

The New York born artist has aspirations to win Eurovision - this commentator is predicting a minimal top 7 placing in the Serbian final.

"I want to bring the Eurovision trophy to Greece!". Kalomoira has proclaimed.

Eleftheria Arvanitaki 'Min Orkiseze' has remained at number two with this rather classy, melodic pop ballad which is the Greek version to the Italian 'Come Monna Lisa'.

Alkistis Protopsalti 'Pame Havai' has gone up one to No.3 the strong raggae under-tones and the really good summer vibe, has guaranteed good air-play, so 'all aboard on the London Greek Radio air-waves... destination... Pame Havai!'

The highest new entry is Paschalis Terzis 'Isos' at No. 4, the up-lifting tsifteteli is listed on the superb platinum laiko album, 'I Diafora'.

'Tilliria’ by Stevie Violaris and Manos Hadjimanolis has remained in fifth. The big hit tune which emanated from 'The Cypriot Collection' has led to a renaissance of the traditional Cypriot folk song albeit with English words - but somehow still has a defiant allegiance to the original version in the local dialect.

Nikos Kourkoulis 'Afieromeno' has drifted slightly outwards to six with this thoughtful ballad, which has a salient word to the Angels!

Nikos opted to change his typified genre of tsiftetelia hit numbers such as 'Mia Nixta Sto Paradiso' reinforcing his great musical flexibility when it comes to belting out the odd dramatic ballad, now and again.

In the meantime, Nikos Vertis has a re-entry with 'Den M'Agapas' at number seven, with a really strong song, attitude and soul permeating throughout this one, taken from the platinum 'Mono Gia Sena' album.

New entry for Limassol newcomer artist Konstantinos Papas in a duet with Sofia Arvaniti 'Mpora' quite a cool contemporary dance track which has the makings of a good summer hit!

The last new entrant is Hro Feat. Gigi D'Alessio 'Amore Mio' in this dual Greek-Italian beautifil class act - straight in at No. 16.

Greek icon Sakis Rouvas has to thirteen - the former number one - with the melodic pop tune, 'Stous 31 Dromous' from the album, 'This is My Live'. Ace hit-maker Dimitris Kontopoulous, who write Sakis's hit of last year, 'Ola Gyro Sou Gyrizoun' also penned this initiative.

Despina Vandi has a re-entry with 'Thelo' the Club Mix at number nineteen.

Panos Psaltis 'Aggele Mou' shows no sign of a respite as it holds the all-time record for longevity on the chart, twenty one weeks! The former number one is at 12 - but it remains a hotly requested song on the air-waves of LGR 103.3FM.

Katerina Neocleous 'Chakara Makara' is at No. 10 for this good pop rock song. What does 'Chakara Makara' actually mean? Well, a kind Cypriot gentle-man had told me it formulated the telling of a story, the equivalence of 'Once Upon a Time'.

"The response to the CD has exceeded all expectations. I'm not sure even the Beatles had three songs in the top 10! - Spokesperson for the Cypriot Academy, the cultural organisation that produced the CD with funding from the UK National Lottery. "It's wonderful to see Cypriots taking such pride in their distinct and shared cultural heritage."

Cypriot pop sensation Michalis Hatzgiannis (Pio Poly, No. 9) has remained unchanged.

The debut artist Konstantinos Galanos has maintained their chart placing for a third week - dropping one place to eleven with the impressively sweet 'An M' Agapas'.

The fiesty diva Natasa Theodoridou 'Pali' is at number fifteen with this impassioned number, which is taken from the self-titled album.

New entries for Giorgos Tsalikis 'Kalitera Paliopedo' (No. 17) and Kostas Karafotis 'Den Ipohoro' (No. 20), Greek traditional up-beat tsiftetelia, make for good listening!

How the chart is determined?
The determinant factors to this chart are (i) listener song requests, (ii) big new hits which emanate in Greece and Cyprus (iii) DJ/producer choices, (iv) LGR on-line voting.
