Apoel are out of the relegation zone after thumping fellow strugglers Aradippou United 5-0. The hosts were on top for most of the first half but couldn’t find a way through the Aradippou United defense. It was a different story after the break with Apoel taking their chances to register their biggest win of the season. Jason Sinclair settled the nerves two minutes into the second half as he tapped in the first for Apoel. Chris Perifimou volleyed in number two and from then on it was simply a question of how many Apoel would get. The veteran Wase Falana helped himself to a hat-trick as the confidence that had been lacking in the Apoel camp suddenly returned.
