Kaiti Garbi is one of the most established, beloved, award-winning and timeless Greek singers. Her career has spanned over 30 years with over 1.5 million records sold in Greece and abroad, while her discography is marked by several multi-platinum, platinum and gold releases, including Arhizo Polemo (1996) and Evaisthisies (1997), two of the best-selling albums of the decade. Garbi represented Greece in the annual Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 with the song “Ellada, Hora Tou Fotos”, taking ninth place. She later struck her biggest commercial success with To Kati (2000) in terms of unit sales. Over the years, Garbi has won 11 Pop Corn Music Awards, including three for Album of the Year, and one Arion Music Award. On 14 March 2010, Alpha TV ranked her among the top-certified female artists in Greece’s phonographic era (since 1960).

LGR Club Nights coming soon…
One of the biggest Greek club nights in North London, which is celebrating its tenth year is back soon.
Its been two years since LGR’s 30th anniversary bash as a FM-licensed station at The Country Club, Trent Park, on November 2019.
LGR launched its debut Club Nights on Thursday 19th April 2012, with Cypriot singer Ivi Adamou, Cyprus’ former Eurovision entrant that year. Her performance, with London-Cypriot act Kyriacos Georgiou had wowed over 500 club-spectators…
LGR event DJs and music acts have performed throughout its ten-year reign. The leading-stars-of-Greek music Stan and Kelly Kelekidou, Giorgos Mais, Valentinos Valeas and home-grown talented, G3orge-e, Mixalis Theodosiou, Elizabeth Chapman, and Iphigenia Loucaides have all featured.

Known to be one of Greece’s greatest composers; The Mikis Theodorakis Orchestra celebrate the legacy of his 20th-century classical music like no other! The concert features material from across a more than 70-year career of composure!

Free Film Screening and Q&A of ‘Love Above All’ written by Vasilis Panayis and is featuring an all-Cypriot cast. It receives its exclusive viewing and premiere on Thursday 28th November 2019 at 8pm. The screening takes place in the heart of North London at The Penridge Suite, 470 Bowes Road, Arnos Grove.
The showing will be followed by a Q&A and an opportunity to meet the cast.

Synopsis: Cyprus. Friday the 19th of July 1974, one day before the Turkish invasion. In a chance meeting they see each other again in London after 45 years…

LGR Club Nights is back with another massive party at the Country Club Trent Park, featuring DJ Makis & DJ Manos aka MOOD.
Join us on Saturday 30th November to celebrate the start of the festive season, in true Greek style! This party also sees London Greek Radio’s 30th birthday party and to celebrate you can expect live performances on the night by: Elizabeth Chapman, Mixalis Theodosiou & Rhythm & Bass.

London Greek Radio are excited to announce that legendary Cypriot singer Stelios Chiotis will be performing live at The Penridge Suite on Sunday 27th October 2019.
